After a long hard battle with numerous medical conditions over the years, Charlie is now at restful peace taking his place with Our Heavenly Father. Left to cherish is memory are:
Monzetta "Monie" his loving wife of 45 years.

Great-grandchildren: Cody & Brendan Adams, Jacob & Colin Tidwell, Adam Carlson, Calob Vinton, Nathan & Evan Adams

Charlie was well-loved by numerous extended family members and countless friends.
Mr. Irestone also served is country by his dedicated service in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed the majority of active tour of duty in Anchorage, Alaska.
Mr. Irestone retired from the Postal Service as a letter carrier with 35 years of service first in Chicago, then Jackson, MI. Charlie was never at a loss for words or lacked a story to tell. With a zest for life, he chaperoned many Special Olympics events and performed as "Dudley" the clown at various venues and parades. A long-standing committee member of Spring Arbor Boy Scout Troop #144. A member of the Diocesan Council of Aging; Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #9301; active member of St. Mary Star of the Sea. He was an avid sports fan, especially true blue to U of M and Chicago Cubs.
Preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Charles W. Irestone; sisters, Dorothy and Lorraine; son, Bruce Adams
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM. There will be a Scripture Service at 6:00 PM followed by the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Chalice Service.
There will be a brief Prayer Service on Monday at the Desnoyer Funeral Home at 9:30 AM immediately followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Cremation will follow the funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions payable to: St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church or Interfaith Shelter.
