Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Survived by his former wife, Betty E. Evans and their children, Curt Campbell, Kim Arntz, Jim (Shirley) Campbell, and Jennifer Dwyer (deceased); seven grandchildren, Rob, Aaron, Amanda, Samantha, Zak, Craig, and Josiah; one great grandson, Michael; two sisters, Kathleen and Debbie; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Campbell. Also survived by the children of his life long partner, Betty Zantop (deceased); Roy and Karen Zantop, Amy and Jim Eisele, Lori and Ray Harrison, Gayle and Steve Bronson, Rollie and Jeanine Ewart, Karen Moe Wilkins, Jim Snyder, and Karren Cram; and their children. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Campbell and his brother, Gerald Campbell.

Charles was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a social worker, owned the 1052 Bar, and retired from Camshaft Machine Company as a machinist.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 1:00 PM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
