Charles Russell Bartlett
passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at Carelink at the age of 84 years. He was born in Grass Lake on June 10, 1929 to Harry & Hazel (Cain) Bartlett. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Constance (Brown) Bartlett; one daughter, Bonnie (John) Romanowski; two granddaughters, Jade (David) Beard, Carly (Stuart) Tenniswood; five great grandchildren, Ella Sillers, Georgia Beard, Lake Beard, Nina Tenniswood and Mara Tenniswood; brothers-in law, John Borener, Richard (Karen) Brown, Bud Poole and Tommy L. Brown; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harry Bartlett; three sisters, Kay, Barbra & Joan.
Charles worked for many years at Clark Equipment & retired from Hatch Stamping in 1994. He loved his family, Clarklake, his morning drives, fishing & people watching. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 12:00 Noon with Chaplain Wendy Walz officiating. Interment will take place at Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
