Charleen Mary Shehan

Charleen was born October 1, 1936, in Chicago, IL to James A. McDivitt Sr. and Margaret McDivitt, she passed away January 7, 2010 in Kalamazoo, MI. After graduating from St. Mary's High School in Jackson, Michigan Charleen attended Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, where she earned a degree as a Registered Nurse. She then married Dr. James P. Shehan, and together they had four children. Charleen was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her brother James A. McDivitt and her children: Timothy J. Shehan of Holland, MI; Stephen M. Shehan, of Adrian, MI; Michael J. Shehan of Bay City, MI; and Judith L. Shehan-Fister and husband Mark, of Chicago, IL. She will be remembered as a loving sister, caring mother, and loyal friend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Goodwill of Southeast Michigan, blyell@goodwillsemi.org. A memorial service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Saturday January 23, 2009 at 12:00 Noon.
