ROHDE, CATHERINE

Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family on Saturday, April 6, 2013 age 88 years. Survived by her brother Robert, nieces Carol Rohde and Sue (Moose) Moseley, nephew Robert (Patty) Rohde, grandniece Lisa Moseley, grand nephew Mark Moseley and other grand nieces and nephews living in Wisconsin. Preceded in death by her sister Dolores, brother William and niece Barbara Ann Moody.

Catherine taught first grade for the Jackson Public Schools for over 30 years and was a proud member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. After retirement she enjoyed traveling the United States and the world. She was a devote Catholic and a lifetime member of St. Mary's Church.

Catherine is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

A special thank you to the care staff at the Trellis Gardens who took such loving care of Catherine.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM.
