Carter, Catherine Marie

of Somerset Center, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home at the age of 94. She is survived by her 3 sons, Dennis Carter of Somerset Center, Richard (Angela) Carter of South Carolina, and Robert (Judy) Carter of Kentucky; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Arthur (Stella) Zacharias. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Richard Dale Carter and her 2 sons, Ronald and Gary Carter.

Catherine was a volunteer at Foote Hospital. She loved to travel with her family and enjoyed working in her garden.

According to her wishes, Catherine has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM.
