Juckett (Pickell), Carolyn A.

Of Jackson, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald; two children, Cynthia (Eric) Laurain and Craig Juckett; grandchildren, Nick and Molly Laurain; sister, Gloria Pickell; sister in law, Janice Stevens; brother in law, David (Mary Ann) Juckett; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis; her sister, Donna Martone; and her parents, Kayle and Dorothy Pickell.

Carolyn was in the first graduating class at Northwest High School in 1960. She retired from Michigan Bell /AT&T after many years of service as a telephone operator and personnel office clerk. She was a member of the St. Joseph Rosary Society and was a Eucharist Minister. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She was kind, faithful and compassionate.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Oratory with Father Chas Canoy officiating. A private interment service will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
