Huntoon, Carolyn "Kay"

Age 92, passed away in peace on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Gayle Huntoon; parents, George and Fern Reese; brother, George; and sister, Barbara Ann Reese. She is survived by her children, Charles (Deb) Huntoon, Sarah (Dan) Hamilton, Jon (Mary) Huntoon and Deborah Willbee. Proud grandmother of Charles Huntoon III, Heather Huntoon, Jacob (Megan) Hamilton, Emily (Nick) Kielhorn, Kyle Huntoon, Jerry Daly, Joseph Willbee, and Deeann Willbee. Kay has 11 great grandchildren, Declan and Evie Kielhorn, Charles David, Braden, Miriam, and Kaylin Huntoon, Katherine, Liam, and Shannon Daly, and Parker and Lily Willbee, with Hamilton twins due in April 2019. She has 2 great great grandchildren, Michael and Thaddeus Huntoon.

Kay will be remembered as a loving wife, remarkable mother, steadfast friend, a woman of faith, who would go anyplace. She was a good golfer, loved the outdoors, and was a creative artist.

The family of Kay would like to thank the "Angels" at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice (they look like regular people), for the compassionate care they gave our mother. They were a blessing for her and our family.

To honor Kay, the family asks that any memorials be given in her name to Henry Ford Allegiance, Dahlem Center, or a charity of your choice.

A celebration of Kay's life will take place at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Father James Shaver officiating.
