Bendele, Carolyn K.

of Jackson, passed away at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her two sons, Tony Bendele and Matt (Chris) Bendele; one "daughter", Robyn (Brett) Halsey; three grandchildren, Kasey, Mike, and Nick; sister, Cynthia (William) Gleason; brother, David (Julie) Stadelman; special friends, P.J. and Mary McDonald and family; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James H. "J.B." Bendele.

Carolyn and her husband J.B. lived in Ft. Meyers for many years. She loved the beach, pool, and warm weather. She enjoyed reading and shopping.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Eberle O.S.F.S. officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

Instead of sending flowers, the family requests that you consider making a memorial donation to her granddaughter, Kasey's educational fund or the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home.
