Lasky (Oleksy), Caroline M.

Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the age of 89.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dale Lasky; parents, Felix and Stella (Bielski) Oleksy and son-in-law, Joseph Hesslau. She is survived by her children, Michael Lasky, Lorraine Hesslau, and Mark (Kim) Lasky; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and sister, Phyllis (Steve) VanDerveen.

Caroline graduated from Foote Hospital School of Nursing and earned an Associates Degree in Nursing from Jackson Community College.  She retired from Foote Hospital after 40 years of service.  Caroline was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel and the St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel Rosary Society.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel at a later date.  A private inurnment will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
