73, slipped away quietly while asleep on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 to be with her parents Victor and Virginia and her sister Phyllis. She will be sorely missed by her husband Bruce, her brother Donald, her friends in Las Cruces, NM ─ home for the past 20 years ─ and her relatives and friends in Jackson, MI where she grew up. Always contented, good natured and at peace with herself, Carole will be remembered as a patient listener who was generous with her time and attention, and as a faithful companion who brought joy to those who loved her. Inspired by her chosen saint, Therese of Lisieux (the "Little Flower"), she was constantly surprising others with an unexpected favor or kind deed. Carole's beautiful spirit sparkled with gentle charity and humor that elicited smiles and warmed hearts.

The Mass of Christian Burial was held in Las Cruces, New Mexico. A celebration of Carole's life will be held at a later date.  Inurnment services will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
