Malec, Carol A.

Born on January 15, 1932, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her four children, Kathy (Robin) Fitzgibbons, Pete Malec, Anne (Terry) Wegrzyn, and Lisa (Tony) Green; daughter-in-law, Mary Malec; 12 grandchildren, Rob (Lori), Jason, Eric, Meaghan (Scott), Kelli (Keith), John (Keanna), Amelia (Jordan), Haley (Paul), Kaitlyn (Brian), Colin (Alix), Christopher, and Chloe (Keifer); and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Paul; son, Lawrence; parents and eight siblings.

Carol graduated from Riverhead High School in Long Island, New York. She was an avid sewer, crocheter, and loved doing crafts and quilting.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Father Robert Pienta officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 24 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the Jackson Interfaith Shelter would be appreciated.
