Of Jackson passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the age of 69 years.

Preceded in death by her husband Gerald Robert LaFond. She is survived by four children, William Leroy Newman and Charlene with their three children Michael, Scott, and Zoey Newman; James Paul Newman and Janine with their eight children Josh, Jacob, Becca, Kaycee, Gracie, Julian, Ashley and Tiffany; Barbara Ann Newman; and Robert Lee Newman with son Brandon and Jeremiah (deceased); two step-daughters, Kelsey LaFond and Billy Jo Selph and Jason Selph and their children Holly, Billy Jack, Kristen and Eliza Edgins (deceased); brothers and sisters, Richard (passed away at birth), William Hilts (deceased), Lillian Connelly, Thomas Weese, Edward Weese, Billy Weese, Kathrine Burdick, Emma Weese, Linda Fletcher.

Carol graduated from Northwest High School in 1970. She worked at Milsco for many years and bowled at Airport Lanes through work for many years. She loved her cats and her bird and enjoyed playing zombie video games.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Loomis Park Baptist Church, 2301 N. Elm Ave with Pastor Rich Zawadzki officiating. Family will receive friends before the service from 2:00 to 2:30 PM.
