Ferris, Carl

Born on July 2, 1933 and died on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Beloved husband of Michiko; master of his special pet, Chibe. Carl was retired from the US Navy after serving 20 years. He served in the Korean War and two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was stationed in Japan where he met his lovely wife of nearly 48 years. He is also survived by a very close cousin, Keith (Shirley) Malone and the Malone and Clark families. After leaving the service Carl lived in Jackson. He retired from the VA Hospital as a painter. Carl was a kind and caring man who would do anything for anyone who needed help. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Saturday, April 30 at 1:00 PM with Bernie Sawicki officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to charity of one's choice.
