Evans, Bryce B.

of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Christine; three daughters, Sally Wray, Jane (Jeffrey) Grice, and Amy (Thad) Russell; five grandchildren, Brittany, Cody, Taylor, Jeffrey II, and Matthew; and many special friends. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel Evans; sister, Beverly Hugenot; and brother, Wade Evans.

Bryce was born in Lansing, Michigan. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of 7 years, serving as a Captain. He graduated from mechanical engineering at Michigan State University. Bryce married his wife, Christine on September 7, 1957. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed his beagle dogs.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with the Reverend Sarah Hurlbert officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
