DAKE , BRUCE D.

Of Jackson passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 age 79 years. Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Rose Marie Dake (Schweda) on March 15, 2013. Survived by his two daughters; Catherine (Dwight) Sargent and Roszanne (David) Joseph. Four grandchildren; Jennifer Campbell, Philip Ledford, Steven Joseph and Lisa Shooltz. Nine great grandchildren; Trent, Ann, and Ashton Joseph, Trey and Trent Ledford, Jessica Campbell, Tyler, Brenden and Devin Shooltz. One brother LaVern Dake(Rosann)and numerous nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by his brother D. James Dake.

Bruce retired after 41 years of service from Kelsey-Hayes as a Journeyman Pipe Fitter. He enjoyed breakfast and his friends at the Virginia Coney Island. Mr. Dake is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Father Timothy MacDonald will officiate at the funeral service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 PM.
