LaFond, Brenda Kay

Of Grand Haven, Michigan, formerly of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the age of 61 years with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ralph LaFond; son, Bryan (Erin) LaFond; daughters, Renae (John Marshall) LaFond-Hitsman and Amber (Joe) Arnold; grandchildren, Setra LaFond, Izabella LaFond, Cayden Hitsman, Brianna Arnold, Alaina Arnold, Addison Arnold, Corbin Wrath, Lorelai Wrath, Logan Marshall, and Brynlee Marshall; siblings, Sharon Lagow, Rick Hamilton, Randy Hamilton, Mike Hamilton, Nora (Phil) Railer, Lorinda Navarre, and Lucinda (Ron) Hamilton-Thornsberry; numerous nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Mary Talton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Laura Hamilton; granddaughter, Makayla Vanderlaan; nephews, Jimmy Vander Weide, Jimmy Thornsberry, and Philip Railer III; father-in-law, George Talton; and brothers-in-law, Joe Lagow and Terry LaFond.

Brenda enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a graduate of Jackson High School.

Funeral Services for Brenda will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Tabernacle, 1249 Ambs Drive, Jackson with Pastor Ken Bass officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, September 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The family will also receive friends on Saturday, October 1 at the Apostolic Tabernacle from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM.
