Coulombe (Mattone), Blanche E.
age 91, passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Ginamarie (Paul) Gietek; her grandchildren, Joshua, Anthony (Kelsey Grubb), and Pauly Gietek, Hillary (Berry) Moss; great grandchildren, Aiden Gietek and Izabella and Branten Moss; sister, Rosemarie (Duane) Breining; brother, John (Susan) Dragonetti; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Coulombe and Leonard Mattone; daugther, Mary Frances Mattone; parents, Louis and Francis Dragonetti and Albert and Irene Krueger; sisters, Theresa Iuni, Angeline Scott, and Louise Dragonetti.
Blanche's grandchildren were her pride and joy. She never missed a game or a wrestling match. She retired from Comerica Bank after many years of service.
A very special thanks to the amazing Unit 4 staff at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility and the Southern Care Hospice who cared for my mother like their own.
Mrs. Coulombe is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, October 10 at 12:30 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pienta officiating. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 5:00 PM.
