Wright, Blair "Bud"
(1956-2025)

Of Jackson, passed away Sunday February 16, 2025, at the age of 68. Blair was born March 14, 1956 to Robert and Dorlis Wright. He was married to Theresa "Terrie" for 44 years. He is also survived by his four children: Rebecca Wright, Christina (David) Deloria, Benjamin (Caitlyn) Wright, David (Stephanie) Wright, and seven grandchildren: Madison Honaker, Ellie, Hunter, Aubrey, and Landon Deloria, and Laurence and Arthur Wright, and his mother-in-law, Rosemary Gough.

Blair was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie, his brothers William and David Wright, his mother Dorlis O'Connor, and his step-dad Clarence O'Connor. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Always quick with a joke, Bud wanted everyone to feel comfortable and light-hearted. He would never refuse a chance to help his friends and family. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with them. With good humor and his easy-going nature, he was a light in every room. As in life, we know he is fishing in heaven, never eating a single one.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. Dr. Amalorpavanathan Rayapillai, SdC, officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
