Goudie, Bill W.
Age 98, of Jackson, died March 22, 2024 from natural causes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, of 75 years, who passed away in October, 2023. He is survived by this three daughters, Linda (Robert) Adkins, Joette Goudie, and Pam (David) Joyce, as well as three adoring grandchildren, Scott Adkins and Leland and Madelyn Joyce as well as several nieces and nephews. He is reunited with his first grandson, Brian, who passed in 2012. Bill grew up in Jackson, graduated Jackson High School, and served his country in WWII, under General Patton. He played golf into his 90s, got his first hole in one at 86, loved watching Tiger baseball and Michigan football, and was a snowbird for 25 years, loving every winter in Florida, and every summer on his deck in Jackson. He spent his career in the auto industry (loved his Cadillacs), enjoyed socializing at the 20/30 dance club and was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Mission Point Health Campus, and Heart to Heart Hospice who loved and cared for Bill. Linda and Pam would also like to thank their sister, Joette, for her countless trips to Jackson to help and visit their Dad at Mission Point. We know it put a smile on his face and was deeply appreciated by all.
At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
