Of Jackson passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 age 91 years. Survived by four children: Thomas (Carol) Sambaer, Julie (Gary) Valentine, Sherry (Stephen) Beshara, and Janet (Dennis) Rockey. Ten grandchildren; Jim Sambaer, Lori Sambaer Wegrzrn (Todd Howe), Julianne Sambaer Crowley, Andy (Krista) Valentine, Ben (Jessica) Valentine, Joshua (Valerie) Beshara, Jasmine (Jason) Hammond, Zakia (Russ) Dixon, Gabriel (Colleen) Beshara and Craig Rockey. 18 great-grandchildren.

Betty is dancing once again with the love of her life, M.J. "Sam" Sambaer on their 67th wedding anniversary. She was also escorted into heaven by her two angel grand-daughters, Jennifer and Melissa Sambaer. Betty was a lifetime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was a charter member of the Guys & Dolls Dance Club and Bowling League. The most important things in her life were her family and raising her children in their Catholic faith.

Mrs. Sambaer is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Father James Shaver will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Betty's dear longtime friends Justin and Jean Perticone, Betty's care giver and friend Nancy Nugent and the staff at Allegiance Hospital, Floor 6 Southeast for the excellent care that they provided.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Friday at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Jackson Catholic Middle School would be appreciated.
