Lagow (Ransom), Betty
passed away quietly at home surrounded by her loving family and friends on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the age of 73. She fought a long hard battle with cancer.
She leaves this life to be with her loving husband Norm of 47 great years and her two daughters Tamera (Welch) Lagow and Candy (Kratson) Lagow. She is survived by her two sons Norm (Donna) Lagow and Steve Lagow, brother Jerry
(Carol) Ransom, grandchildren Scott (Roxanne) Cross, Brien May and Tashia McIntosh, great grandchildren Devin Cross, Diamonds Farrell and many special nieces and nephews, her best friends in the whole world Ellen, Ralph Ladd and Harold (Pops) Tucker and many, many more special family members and friends. Betty worked at the Regent, Petes Dining and Cocktails, and Point East. Betty Loved being around family & friends, going to the Casino, playing cards, helping others.
Funeral services will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Chaplin David Cornwell will officiate at the funeral service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
