Gamble, Betty E.
Of Jackson passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Survived by her sons, Richard D. Gamble of Richland, WA and Douglas R. (Susanne) Gamble of Peoria, AZ; daughter, Lynda K. (Mark) Little of Horton, MI; grandchildren, Jennifer Gamble (AZ), Derek Gamble (NV), Hannah Gamble (AZ), Sam Gamble (AZ), and Jacob Gamble (AZ); several great grandchildren and brother, Allyn (Mary) Ernst. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert C. Gamble. Also preceded in death by her brother, Dwane Ernst.
Betty was a registered nurse and retired after 36 years from Foote Hospital, was a longtime active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies Aid Group where they made quilts for the missions.
According to her wishes, Mrs. Gamble has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 122 West Wesley Street on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Scott Sommerfeld officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, July 3 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cascades Humane Society or the John George Home would be appreciated.
