Click, Betty Lou
of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 with her family by her side, at the age of 84 years.
She is survived by three sons, Chris (Cindy) Click, Kevin Click, Tim (Cathy) Click; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Hank (Dee) Hurlbert; one sister, Patricia Berlin; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dottie Hall, Gail Lavwig and Beverly Pickett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Click; daughter, Amy Johns; brother, Don Hurlbert.
Betty was a nurse at Mercy and Foote Hospitals for many years, was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery Program for 17 years, lifelong member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, member of the nursing faculty at JCC, was a volunteer at St. Luke's Clinic, was a member of the Red Hat Society and was an avid golfer.
According to her wishes, Betty has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 AM with Father Tim Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Saturday, February 11 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with a Rosary Service starting at 8:30 AM.Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in Betty's memory would be appreciated.
