Beth Myers Francis

Beth Myers Francis entered the next stage in her journey on November 8, 2021, after fighting a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Beth entered this life's journey on September 3, 1961, the youngest child of Rolland and Jane Myers of Waldron, Michigan. Her early life on the farm began her lifelong love of animals. She never turned away an animal or person in need. Her caring continued throughout her long career as a licensed social worker, where she fought for the most vulnerable among us. Beth entered the field of social work after completing her college degree as a single mother.

Beth was known for her green thumb and her ability to grow anything from seed or sapling. Her and Bob's yard was a showcase with so many points of interest. Her love of the land and nature led her to taking an active interest in the environment, and she was an outspoken advocate for the preservation of our earth. Beth was a phenomenal cook who loved entertaining friends and family. Her circle was large, and all our lives are greatly diminished by her passing.

Beth was predeceased by her parents, Rolland and Jane Myers. Beth is survived by her loving husband, Robert Francis of Cement City, Michigan; her devoted daughter Ashley Cochran, of Clarklake, Michigan, her sister and best friend Beverly Evers Niles of Clarklake, Michigan, and her brothers, Larry Myers (Dianna) of Whitehouse, Ohio, and Lamont Myers (Karen) of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Beth also leaves her loving stepsons, Robert Francis III (Carrie) of Grand Haven, Michigan, and Patrick Frazee (Wendy) of Holt, Michigan, and her grandchildren Robbie, Ryan, Ella, and Bailey. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Beth will also be greatly missed by her lifelong friends Lorraine Smith, Judy Smith, and Fredi Vaughan.

A celebration of Beth's life will be held in the spring, when all of Beth's flowers will be in bloom. Thoughts and memories may be in the guestbook entries. Donations in Beth's honor may be sent to 4Oceans.com or the Cascades Humane Society in Jackson, Michigan.
