Fabian, Bernice M.

of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 under the loving care of her family and the staff at Vista Grande Villa at the age of 99½ years. She is survived by her five children, Bonnie (Bill) Bish, Beverly (Clune) Curtiss-Walsh, Robert (Nancy) Fabian, Richard (Beverly) Fabian, and Ronald Fabian; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles; granddaughter, Jill Curtiss; brother, Robert Turner; and sister Berneta Hoeft.

Bernice was a working mother and then obtained her Masters Degree in Education at the age of 45. She taught at the Napoleon Schools for 20 years. She was a loving grandmother. Bernice enjoyed golfing and painting.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, July 5 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to Queen's Church or to Lumen Christi Education Fund would be appreciated.
