Skrocki, Ben
Age 85, of Jackson, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Ben was born March 6, 1926, in Jackson to Ben and Elizabeth Skrocki Sr. Ben married Helen Alexander in June of 1947. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and received the Navy Cross, Purple Heart and multiple other commendations. He was employed as an industrial engineer and restaurant business manager.
He will be sadly missed by his wife and children; Richard (Merrilee), Robert, James, and Mary Elizabeth (Richard Hills), grandchildren Todd (Lori), Richelle and Emily Hills, and one great grandson, Michael. Ben is survived by a brother Ralph (Mary), two sisters, Virginia Crowley and Christine Overmeyer, and a sister-in-law Louise (Don King), as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Queen's parish or St.Vincent De Paul Society. A private memorial Mass will be held later.
