Meyers, Benjamin Leo Jr.

Of Jackson, passed away at his home under the special loving care of his son, Kevin, hospice, and family on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the age of 86 years.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lorraine Meyers and three sons, Dennis (Robin) Meyers, Glen (Tina) Meyers, and Kevin Meyers.  He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Lee Meyers; step-sister, Angeline Robinson; step-brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Loretta Milligan.  He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ben retired from Consumers Energy as a Senior Lab Technician after 42 years.  He was a member of the United States Army Reserves, enjoyed hunting, fishing, landscaping, his dog Rascal, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Mr. Meyers is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Charles Krueger officiating.  Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 20 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM.
