Age 92, of Jackson passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 peacefully at home, with his wife and daughters by his side.

Ben was the owner of the Jackson Automatic Sprinkler Company for many years, a business started by his father.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a good friend to many. He enjoyed bowling, golf, "March Madness" and the casinos.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Bertha (Wedige) Frey, daughters Julie Frey-Ineichen, and Karen (Andrew) Smith, He is survived by his wife Dolores, daughters Kathleen Frey of Florida, Patricia Frey of Jackson, and Lisa (Michael) Wetzel of Pleasant Lake, grandchildren Benjamin, Stephanie, Marcella, Michael, Dean and Marlee and 5 great grandchildren.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
The family will hold a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 19th at 10:00 AM with Father Timothy Nelson officiating, followed by interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 120 E. Wesley St. Jackson, Michigan 49201.
