Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the age of 94 years.  She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Harold; three sons, Michael Winters, Mark (Susan) Winters, and John (Karen) Winters; and three grandchildren, Morgan, Maddison, and Rachel. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Winters Jr.; parents, Fred and Bertha Ellis; and sister, Janet (Jerry) Greene.

She was a wonderful baker, especially her legendary pies and cakes.  Barbara worked for the Jackson County Friend of the Court, Weight Watchers as an inspirational lecturer, and also at Jackson County Seniors Program.  She enjoyed the Detroit Red Wings and loved her cats.

Barbara was a woman of faith and family and was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Father Chas Canoy officiating.  A private interment will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at St. John's Church on Thursday, February 27 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
