Peacefully passed on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at age 83, surrounded by her loving family.  Barb was born in Jackson, MI on January 29, 1939.

She was the fourth of five children born to Donald and Kathryn Seitz. Barb Graduated from Jackson High School in 1956. She worked at Consumers Energy in Jackson after High School.

Barb married the love of her life, Jerry, in 1959. The first night she met Jerry, Barb went home and told her mother that she had met the man she was going to marry. In 1960, they were blessed with their daughter, Vicky. They shared 42 happy years together.

In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Barb was a gifted artist and crafter. She was part owner of Bar Mar Ceramics and loved to share her gifts by teaching others. Barb spent many years creating and making a wide variety of wonderful items to offer to the public at the local craft shows. Her booth was always busy, and she loved meeting and chatting with all the people.

Barb loved to play Euchre and was always up for a game. She was lucky and skillful and won most of the time. She enjoyed weekend bus trips with friends to different casinos, where she liked to try her luck at the slots. Barb loved going to movies, watching the Tiger games, and Lumen Christi Football. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her Monday night dinners with "Noey".

Barb was grounded in her faith. A devout Catholic, and lifelong member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Parish. She had an unwavering belief in God that brought her both comfort and confidence.
