Hoyer, Barbara Jean
Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2016 in Jackson, Michigan. Barb was 90 years young. She is survived by her sons, Robert and Thomas Hoyer; granddaughters, Kristen (Robert) Fladung and Deborah (Dan) Reese. Barbara adored her 5 great grandchildren, Jackson, Andrew, and Elizabeth Reese and Robert and Zachery Fladung. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clarence and her 5 brothers and sisters. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. Barb spent the last 8 years at Spring Arbor Assisted Living, whom also became part of her family.
Mrs. Hoyer is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2 at 1:00 PM with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Private interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
The family suggests that, instead of sending flowers, please consider a memorial donation to St. John Elementary Catholic School or Lumen Christi Catholic School.
