Guilmette (Conners), Barbara J.

Born April 1, 1941 in Rochester, Minnesota died peacefully at home in Jackson, Michigan surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Curtiss Guilmette; sister, Kathleen Parsons; brother, Hugh Conners; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara grew up in Royal Oak, Michigan. She graduated Dondero High School in 1959 and studied at Highland Park Community College. Her career spanned human resources, sales and interior design with Jacobsons, J.C. Penney and Sears.

Barbara loved traveling the world on cruises with her husband Curtiss and her extended family. She had a passion for baking and sharing her baked goods with friends and family. Barbara spent her life in service to family, friends, church and community. She will be missed.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 122 West Wesley Street, Jackson, with Reverend William Parsons officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM.

Instead of flowers, contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church or Henry Ford Hospice would be appreciated.
