Darnell, Barbara M. (Yarlot)

of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Deborah (Joseph) Cavender, Mrs. Apryl A. Darnell (Gene); four grandchildren, Danny W. Harris, II (Jennifer), Jeremy Harris, Mrs. Courtney A. Winter and Joseph Cavender, Jr.; one nephew, Beryl K. Sanders (Leslie) and one niece, Cynthia Sheeran Inman; several cousins, friends including U.A.W. friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel "Nate" Darnell; parents, Walter and Catherine F. Yarlot; her three sisters, Mrs. Madelaine A. Sanders (Beryl K.), Miss Virginia M. Yarlot and Mrs. Marjorie H. Sheeran.

Mrs. Darnell worked as a private secretary at Sparton Corporation, legal secretary and retired as treasurer of Walker Employees Federal Credit Union, where she worked for 15 ½ years.

Mrs. Darnell is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Father Robert Pienta will be officiating. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM.
