Brown, Barbara E.
born October 1, 1922 in Jackson, Michigan died May 5, 2013 at Jackson County Medical Care Facility following a brief illness. She was married 58 years to her husband who preceded her in death, Edward H.; also preceded in death by five sisters; Ethel Leutz, Margaret Bostedor, Maxine Bielfus, Goldie Titler, and Agnes Pritt; and one brother, Joseph Hauser. Survived by her son, Michael and daughter, Kathy (Corky) Bouldrey; six grandchildren, Brian Bouldrey, Chris (Michelle) Bouldrey, Scott (Dawn) Bouldrey, Tina York, Lisa (George) Cartwright, and Anna (Bryan) Wooten; thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Mrs. Brown is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Father Richard T. Eberle, O.S.F.S. will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 PM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home followed by visitation until 8:00 PM.
