Audrey Ellen Van Buren

Announcing the passing of Audrey Ellen Van Buren, beloved mother to three children, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, at the age of 88.

A Life Well Lived:

Born in Jackson, Michigan on October 14th, 1936 to Almer and Iola Fry, Audrey lived a life dedicated to her family and her dogs and cats. She was known for her positive personality, sense of humor, warmth, generosity, and strength.  She loved spending time with family, family dinners, reading and animals.

Audrey is survived by her husband, David Van Buren, daughters Deborah (William) Strohaver, Denise (Phil) Viersen and Ellen Van Buren, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service to honor Audrey's life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at South Jackson Community Church, 1024 West Kimmel Road in Jackson.  The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday, May 27 from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Barkley and Lulu Foundation or the Cascades Humane Society.

Her children and husband were blessed, and she will be truly missed.
