Of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2024 under the loving care of his family and the staff at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home at the age of 94 years, four days before his 95th birthday.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Ramona Herrera; his precious daughter, Rita; and his parents, Eberista and Robert Herrera.

He is survived by his granddaughters; Dana Herrera and Chazvan (John) Nelson; and two great grandsons, Chase Nelson and Kaiden Rippee.

Arthur worked at Commonwealth Associates for almost forty years, followed by Jim Winter Buick where he then retired.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Arthur was a hard worker that always made sure his family was taken care of.  He loved to hunt, fish and play pool.

Arthur's granddaughters would like to express special thanks to the Henry Ford Hospice Home of Jackson for taking such amazing care of Arthur. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on his 95th birthday,  Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Tim Nelson officiating.  Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.

The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Church on Thursday, November 7 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
