Jehnzen, Arlene
Passed away at Legacy Nursing Home on January 31, 2017 of natural causes, age 86. She is survived by children, Dennis Butler (Pattie Clark), Myron Jehnzen, Jr., Jerry Jehnzen (Marlene), Marilyn Rockwell (Jerry); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Salyers (Cookie) and sister, Etta Lowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Jehnzen, Sr., and her companion, Albert Morris.
She was born in West Virgina and moved to Salyersville, Kentucky and was the daughter of a coal miner. She moved to Stockbridge, Michigan and then to Michigan Center and raised her family. She enjoyed casinos, theater and garage sales. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home in Jackson. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and service will be on Monday at 11:00 with Chaplin David Goldsmith from Southern Care Hospice officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
