Hobley, Arlene

of Jackson, Michigan went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 after a long life of joy. Those who are left to honor her memory are her children, daughter Sandy Sharpe and son Gary (Denise) Sharpe, daughter Sharon Sharpe, and daughter Diane Sharpe; grandchildren, Valerie D'Agostini, Jaimeson Sharpe, and Mckenna Dear; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Irving (Deloris) Osborne and Joan Kuhl.

Preceded in death by her son William Norton, husband Edwin Hobley, father Larry Osborne, mother Rose Osborne, and her brother Ted Osborne.

Arlene was born in Jackson. She attended St. Mary Catholic School in Jackson and went on to be a hairdresser at Fields Beauty Salon. Arlene was known for writing poems and the sunshine club writer.

She always loved to write letters to everyone. Embroidery brought her such joy, many have her great works of art as she gave many gifts of her talent.

Private services to be held for family. Cremation and Mass to follow at a later date.
