Of Spring Arbor, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2017 at the age of 89. She was born October 11, 1927, in Dubuque, Iowa to Leo A. and Marie E. (Sauer) Jungk. On August 26, 1948 she married her "one true Love" Joseph F. Reinker Jr., and together they shared over 67 years and six children. Joseph predeceased her in March 2016. A lifelong Catholic and longtime member of St. Catherine Laboure Parish Concord, Michigan, she practiced her faith in a humble and giving way.

Arleen was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, and a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, Christmas, and clowning, which she pursued under the name of "Pepper". She was a member of the Parma Flower Garden and Sewing Club and the Rebekah Lodge.

Arleen is survived by daughters Ruth Ann (Michael) Benner, and Marian (David) Lodes; sons Daniel (Pamela) Reinker, Matthew (Cheryl) Reinker, and Steven Reinker; and son-in-law Mitch Flatland; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Patricia (Cyril) Arensdorf and Marie (Vernon) Hinderman; sister-in-law Edna (Ronald) Houselog; and many more members of her extended family.

Besides her husband and parents, Arleen is preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn (Harold) Bach, Virginia Konzen, brothers Ralph (Jenni) Jungk, Donald (Mary) Jungk, and Phillip (Jeanette) Jungk; her daughter, Linda Flatland, and two granddaughters Colleen Benner and Mary Lodes.

According to her wishes, Arleen has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at St. Catherine Laboure Parish in Concord, Michigan with Fr. Timothy Krzyzaniak officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers consider a memorial to a veteran's organization or St. Catherine Laboure Parish.
