Of Jackson, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Vista Grande Villa, just shy of his 90th birthday. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Joyce and eight brothers and sisters. Survived by his three children, Michael (Debbie) Pec of Jackson, Marcia Pec (Sue Jackson) of Lansing, and Julie (David) Harper of Farmington Hills; four granddaughters, Amy (Les) Biegel, Elizabeth (Adam) Knight, Kristen Pec, Kelsey Harper (fiancé Chris Felt); one great grandson, Josh Biegel; sister-in-law, Suzanne (Roger) Applegate; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tony was an Army Veteran of WWII. He worked as a fire protection engineer for the Insurance Services Office in Jackson and retired in 1987. Tony was a devout Catholic member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church for many years and served as an usher. He was an avid U of M fan and belonged to the M Club. He was a volunteer at Allegiance Health and a member of the 25 year club. Tony enjoyed reading about politics and current events. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Mr. Pec is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held on Thursday, January 15 at 11:00 AM with Father John Whitlock officiating. Private interment Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
