Murphy, Anne Catherine
loving wife of James L. Murphy entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 29, 2013. Survived by husband, son Brent; grandchildren Emily, Connor and Riley. Preceded in death by parents Eugene and Margaret and brother, Richard Delamater. Surviving brothers James, Mike (Karen), Ronald (Kathryn) and Edward. Special sister-in-law, Kathryn Delamater. Anne was a twelve year student at St. Mary's School graduating in 1962. Anne received her Cosmetology license in 1963. Anne was a courageous woman who battled ovarian cancer for over fifteen years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Murphy is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Tim Nelson will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 PM and a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Mary's School Gift Program at 120 E. Wesley, Jackson, Michigan, 49201.
