Carpenter (Szczesny), Anne M.

Of Huntsburg, Ohio, age 65, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her much loved family September 14, 2016. Annie danced her way into the arms of her Savior and her waiting family - Mother, Eugenia (Jennie) Szczesny; Father, Thaddeus (Ted) Szczesny and brother, Robert (Bob) Szczesny. She is survived by her loving husband, Marlin Carpenter of Huntsburg, Ohio, her sons; Jamie Smith (Heidi), Brent Smith (Dana) and Thadd Martin (Morgan), her grandchildren; Justice Smith, Brenten Smith, Jr, Maddie Smith, Liv Smith, Ava Martin, Emma Martin, Drew Lowrey and Tyler Lowrey. She is also survived by her brother Ted Szczesny (Diana), sister Cathy Walker (Chuck), brother-in-law, Dean Carpenter and sister-in-law, Lonna Szczesny and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great-nephew.

Annie worked at Mercy/Foote Hospital and retired after many years of service. She loved gardening, swimming, traveling, helping others in any way she could, making friends and showering those friends and family with her time and love. Annie was the bravest person that we have ever known. Cancer may have stolen her from us but it can never take away the legacy of love that she left behind.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Joseph Oratory, 705 N. Waterloo Street, Jackson.
The family will receive friends at the Church from 9:30 to 10:30 AM preceding the Funeral Mass.
