Curtiss (Deraedt), Ann Madeline
Of Jackson, Michigan passed peacefully from this earth at home on Friday, August 4th, 2023. Ann was born July 6th, 1944 in Jackson, where she lived her entire life with her surviving husband Albert Curtiss. Ann spent her life raising her 4 children, 3 grandchildren, and several other family friends children. Along with raising many children, Ann enjoyed her and Al's yearly spring trips to Orlando, celebrating life at every possible opportunity with her family, and keeping her house so clean many didn't believe they actually lived in it. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Albert Curtiss, her children Rick (Chris), Mark (Paula), and Jay (Kim), her grandchildren Blake, Hunter (Kelli), and Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Mary Lou and Dick, and her daughter Tami. She will be especially remembered for the way she made everyone that interacted with her feel like the most important person in the world.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Robert Pienta officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.
The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday, August 10 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice would be appreciated.
