Anita J. Calbert
of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the age of 73 years. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert "Bob"; three children, Veronica "Vicki" (Thomas) Stevens, Kevin (Evelyn) Calbert, Robbin (Tim) Leighty. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Pluta. Anita is also survived son-in-law, Dan Pluta; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Crites; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Anita loved to travel with her husband.
Funeral services will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Michael Mason officiating. Interment will take place at Fifield Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24 from 5–8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
