KONIECZKA, ANASTASIA T. "STASIA"
Of Jackson, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at RidgeCrest Health Campus age 94 years. She was born April 11, 1917 to Bernard and Pauline (Dzienisiewicz) Wasielewski. Stasia was preceded in death by her husband William B. Konieczka Sr., three sisters; Lillian (Leo) Bielicki, Lottie (Bud) Cones and Helen Wasielewski and her brother, Joseph (Dorothy) Wasielewski. She is survived by son William B. (Sandra) Konieczka Jr. Grandchildren; Lisa (Jay) Dickinson and Brian (Carrie) Konieczka. Great Granddaughters; Rachel Konieczka, Jessica Dickinson and Kirsten Dickinson. Sister Wanda (Connie) Ruthowski and many nieces and nephews. Stasia was employed at Regent Café and the Sparton Corporation. She enjoyed family gatherings and was especially devoted to her grandchildren. At Stasia's request, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Father James Shaver officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or St. Joseph Chapel would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Chapel on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM.
The family wishes to thank the staff at RidgeCrest Health Campus and Dawn Richey and all the staff at the Greenleaf Care Home for their patient and loving care.
