Allabertha "Bertha" Herman

Of Jackson passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 age 97 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rose Herman. Brothers, Carl and Ralph and sisters, Elsie and Lucille. She is survived by brother Paul and sister RoseMarie Schneider. Bertha was born and raised in Jackson and moved to Lake Worth, Florida in 1952 where she resided until 2009. She was a longtime employee of Sears. Bertha was a resident of the Legacy Assisted Living Center in Jackson. She was a graduate of Jackson High School. Bertha was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Bertha is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a brief Prayer Service will be held Friday 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment Hillcrest Memorial Park. The Rev. Cecilio Reyna officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Mary Church or Allegiance Hospice would be appreciated.

The Family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.
