MINOR, ALICE M. "Mimi"

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Alice is survived by her children Deborah
(Mark) Simpson and Richard W. Minor, adored grandchildren Eric (Emily) Simpson, Brian Simpson ( Brooke Davis), Matthew Simpson, Aaron Minor and many nieces and nephews. Alice was a lifelong resident of Jackson, Michigan.

She worked for many years at Mercy Hospital but her greatest love was being a homemaker with her beloved husband of 62 years, Dick Minor, who preceded her in death only 14 months ago. Her real occupation was spoiling her grandchildren with Easter Egg hunts, magic bars, her famous mac and cheese, weekly luncheon trips to MSU for over 12 years and putt putt golf. She was "their girl."

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on
Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at Queen's Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan. The entire Minor family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the wonderful care provided by Beaumont Hospital Hospice staff and by her caregivers, Dajah Janik, and Olivia Bush, who provided her with great happiness in her final days.
