Passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was born on September 3, 1928 in Chihuahua, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his son, Alfred Paul on October 22, 1974. Alfred is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sofia; daughter, Rebecca M. Gomez; grandson, Jason, (Jenisa) and great granddaughters, Caprice, Ali, Tayzia, Parker, and great grandson, Gabe. Alfred was retired from Jackson Drop Forge, where he worked for 32 years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Alfred is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, November 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM.
