Pulka, Alexander
of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the age of 86 years. Survived by his wife, Cecilia Pulka, daughters Shari (Les) Joslin of Washington, UT, Kathi (Craig) Grimes of Jackson, MI and Rosemary (David) Yanakeff of Jerome, MI. Grandchildren Caitlin Yanakeff, Will Yanakeff, Steven Grimes, Igor Joslin and Vladmir Joslin. Also survived by his brother Anthony (Virginia) Pulka of Jackson, MI and sister Frances Curran of Spartanburg, SC, sister-in-law Georgia Pulka of Jackson and sister-in-law Alice Pulka of Milwaukee, WI and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Pulka, brothers Bernie, Louie, Joe, John, Steve and sisters Josephine Harmon and Rose Beaghan.
Retired from Clark Equipment after 31 years. Member of the Rose City Post #324.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, November 5 from 4–7 PM with a Scripture Service at 6:00 PM.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 6 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Father James Shaver as the celebrant.
